About Nomad Office

Nomad Office is a directory of laptop-friendly cafes, coworking spaces, libraries, and other places to work remotely, built on reviews from people who have actually worked there. Whether you're a digital nomad in a new city or just want to get out of the house for the afternoon, the goal is the same: know before you go that there's decent Wi-Fi, a comfortable seat, and a power outlet waiting for you.

How do the ratings work?

Every review rates a place on four things that matter when you're working:

• Wi-Fi: speed and reliability of the connection.
• Comfort: seating, tables, and how long you could happily work there.
• Power: whether you can find an outlet without unplugging the espresso machine.
• Food & drink: quality and selection of what's on offer.

Individual ratings are combined into an overall score out of 5 for each place, and written reviews are summarised so you can get the gist at a glance.

How do I find places?

From the front page you can find places close to you now (using your device's location), or search for places in a specific city. You can also browse by country and city or explore the map .

How do I submit places?

You can add a new place by searching for places nearby or manually entering an address.

Nomad Office is new, and the more reviews places have the more useful it will be. If you use Nomad Office to find a place to work, remember to help out fellow travellers by leaving a review.

Who runs this?
