Churchill Bar and Lounge offers a comfortable workspace with good WiFi and a casual atmosphere, suitable for a few hours of work. While food and drink options are average, the location provides pleasant sea views, though the conservatory can be cold in winter.
This is a quite a nice casual bar on the waterfront in Dover. It's situated within the Dover Marina Hotel but is completely open to non hotel guests. There is a conservatory area at the front with nice sea views, however this area is quite cold in winter. They have a patio out the front too which could be nice in summer. It's reasonably large and there are some high and low tables available. The WiFi seemed to work fine for my purposes. You can order drinks at the bar instead of table service, which I always prefer when staying for a while. A cappuccino was £3.95 and was average quality for England. It feels like you can stay here for a few hours. It's near the ferry terminal and it seemed that other tables were killing some time here before their ferry. Overall it's not perfect but it's one of the nicer places in the area.
