Hampton by Hilton Canterbury offers a spacious hotel lobby with comfortable seating, excellent WiFi, and ample power outlets, making it ideal for extended work sessions. While coffee quality is average and food options are limited to a full menu without light lunches, it remains a top choice, particularly for hotel guests after 10 PM.
This is my favourite place to work in Canterbury. It's a huge hotel lobby with a bar / cafe. Plenty of comfortable tables. Natural light through the window in the roof. You can stay here for ages due to it being a hotel not a cafe. The downside is the coffee quality is okay "okay". But it's reasonably priced - £3 for a cappuccino. They don't do any light lunches but they do have a full food menu. I was told before that after a certain time (I think 10pm) only hotel guests were allowed to be there.
